The writing is a bit one sided and authoritive, but it's not an academic book, so the style is going to be subjective I suppose.

I loved the tin, it's a nice touch, and makes it look good on the bookshelf. It'd also make it a nice gift for someone. Excellent intro reference book or coffee table gift book for amateur film buffs - it's well written and interesting to dip in and out of. Of course it has.

The book takes about seven hours to read, while the film is minutes long — so some of the story has to go. Liberties must be taken for a film adaptation to work: novels and film scripts are like comparing apples to oranges. So characters have been expunged and scenes cut, added or merged.
